Finally get to try this place! It took me years but I finally did! One of my friends have been raving about this, and now I know why. Showcasing homemade desserts from different homebakers, you’ll know that every piece was crafted with much care and love.
The place is quite small, and you wouldn’t see it right away at Trinoma. Despite of that, the place was packed on a late afternoon. We were lucky enough to be able to find seats at that hour.
This is one of their bestsellers. You could still slice it even though it’s frozen. I’m not fond of brazo de mercedes but this one changed my mind. I liked the layers below the fluffy cake. And surprisingly, this wasn’t that sweet. It was light and just right as an afternoon snack.
At first, I thought that this was going to be sweet. Just looking at it seemed so. But it wasn’t. It had the right amount of chocolatey sweetness. The cake itself was moist. It was a good pair to the brazo as this one was quite dense.
This one was on the house. If your bill reaches up to P100 (I think), you get free brewed coffee. Freebies are always the best. But in this case, it wasn’t. The coffee was watered down. Even if you add the sugar and cream in, it was still bland. But hey, free coffee is free coffee.
This indeed made my day. Honestly, if they have another branch near my place, I would have gained a pound everyday and wouldn’t care about it. This was worth the distance to satisfy my sweet tooth. 😛
