With the help of Google Maps, my friend and I finally found and crossed over to this café. No, we weren’t lost but we were in some need of good coffee and sugar rush. Let’s cross over that line shall we? 🙂
The place was actually small with this one long common table in the middle. I thought the space would be bigger based from their website, and the fact that they feature works from different artists. They do have a couple of seats outside if you prefer to dine al fresco. These all make for one cozy café with some interesting pieces to boot.
We asked the barista her recommended sugar treats as this was our first time there. She happily told us we can try their bestselling Red Velvet Cake and Lychee Martini Cake that is only served during weekends.
If you’re going here on a weekend, please get this. It was so good. Just imagine how generous they were with the lychees. I mean, come on! And you could really taste the lychee in every bite. Not sure on the martini part but this was good. It wasn’t that sweet, and the cake wasn’t dense.
It’s really no wonder why this is their bestseller. It was great! When my friend had a bite of this, her face just lit up. Mine did too! I liked how I could taste bits of chocolate in the slice. I liked the addition of coconut shavings on top. This was a bit dense which works for me. Yeah, must go back for this. Haha 😛
With a casual vibe, friendly baristas, and good coffee & desserts, this place is perfect for catch-up sessions. Get to admire pieces from upcoming artists or even listen to a live performance at this cafe.
