The Last Pit Stop: Brícco Cafe

BC“Parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night till it be morrow.” – Shakespeare

Leaving a foreign place always makes me sad. A part of it is because I know I’ll be heading to my normal routine. Another part shall miss engrossing oneself in a different environment. The latter is the bigger part. Even though I’ve been here a couple of times, it always feels new somehow.

You know that the end of your trip is nearing when you arrive at the airport. What better way to cap my Singapore trip by grabbing a cup and sweet treat at this café.

Tiramisu (S$ 5.00)
Tiramisu (S$ 5.00)

BC_tiramisu1As soon as I saw this on their menu, I knew I had to have it. I’m a sucker for this, and would more or less get one if it’s available. This was quite soft and a bit on the sweet side. I didn’t add the whipped cream in as it would only make it sweeter.

Cappuccino (S$ 5.70)
Cappuccino (S$ 5.70)

BC_coffee1This tasted a bit burnt but it was a good balance to my sweet dessert. On the plus side, this one had a good amount of foam in it.

BC1As I had my bittersweet combination, I reflected on the days past and of the future. Even though it was a short trip, it surely was a food-filled and fun-filled one. ‘Til next time little red dot! 😉
