Red mugs at Cafe Shibuya

CS_cupsIt was a Nescafe moment for me and my friends while we drank our chosen drinks at this café. Red mugs do remind me of that brand. But the taste of their drinks are very different from that one. So, it was time to experience a new red mug moment.

CS1CS2CS3The place was very well-lit with its blackboards that had very nice handwriting and drawings too. There were sacks of Café Shibuya beans, books, bottles, and rolling pins adorning the place.

CS_choco1As soon as I saw Ghirardelli on the menu, I set my heart on ordering that drink. One can either choose to have this with or without espresso. I chose the former thinking that it would taste like a café mocha. It bordered on being a chocolate drink as I couldn’t feel the espresso much. It was still a good drink to cap one’s day off.

Introducing the other red mugs of that night…

Yeah, the only clear glass of the night. This was probably to highlight the color and intensity of the tea.

CSToo bad we weren’t able to try their desserts or dishes. We really just stopped by for some coffee and tea which were good. This is one good place to chill the night away, and to create red mug moments.
