It was my first time dining here, and I have always been curious as to how this place looked like. From the outside, it doesn’t look much except for that signage. It’s like entering a secret path really. The guard leads you up the stairs, you take a few corners to your left, and you are greeted by the restaurant’s signage. Upon entering the place, you can sense the grandeur it holds. It was very classy gatsby style. All the details make up for that moment. Will it live up to its dishes as well?
Drizzled with Gorgonzola Dolce Dressing and topped with candied walnuts and sliced Fuji apples, this was just okay. I couldn’t sense the grill method in the chicken though it was quite tender. The walnuts weren’t as candied as I would’ve preferred it to be.
Not really a wine person but this one was a tad strong. Wasn’t able to finish my glass but I have to say, it was a good pair to our dishes.
This may not have been the gatsby moment I was looking for. But my friend did say that she was able to taste their other dishes which were good. So yes, there will definitely be another round of wine here. A good place for yuppies to chill the night away or for quick lunches, experience a cool and stylish dining experience at this resto.
