I might be a few months late on this. But that was intentional. Didn’t want to go here while the buzz and hype was still high. Still, I was expecting the lines to be long, and to hear a couple of grumbling tummies (including mine). Impressively, we got seated fast. So glad this famous Michelin resto has landed in Makati.
The restaurant was packed with hungry customers. This place isn’t perfect for some chit chats after. It’s like you’re there to just eat and run. The chairs weren’t as comfy as I would have liked them to be though there’s this section with some couches. It doesn’t matter though as the real highlight here are their dishes.
I cannot believe how filled this dumpling was. It almost looks like it’s gonna burst from all the spinach and shrimp inside. At that price, you get your money’s worth for some fresh and delicious dumpling.
Really wanted to leave it at that. Haha. But I really loved this! I loved how crumbly it was on the outside. And when you taste the bbq pork filling with everything else, you just want to close your eyes and relish in pork bun heaven. No wonder people crave and line up for these little sweet buns. 😀
This was just okay. There were pomelo bits though I think the mango overpowered it.
One good and healthy drink to wash everything off. Very refreshing 🙂
Again, I’m so glad they finally opened a branch in Makati. And I’m sure they’ll be opening up at other areas too. The food choices are few and are all paired with photos so one wouldn’t have a hard time choosing what to eat. Also, this is budget friendly. Dishes can be shared. And if you’re in a big group, you can order everything (and possibly, taste everything too). Service was really fast so getting a table (we waited for around 10 minutes or so) wouldn’t be a problem. Just make sure that your group is complete to be seated immediately.
