Ukkokei Ramen Ron is a-okay!

Having a cold Saturday night? Comfort yourself by eating some ramen. And why not at this place where their ramen is a-okay.

Compared to other ramen joints, this one prides itself in using silky fowl soup. It is said that silky fowl has a lot of benefits such as preventing low or high blood pressure, diabetes and many more. It is a medicinal chicken that can bring wonders to one’s body.

The place was quite spacious with a corner where you can eat your ramen the Japanese way.

The flavor wasn’t that strong, and has this somewhat calming effect. It tasted very light which is probably due to the chicken broth. It was served warm with generous amounts of noodles. The roast pork was thin enough to enhance the flavor of the ramen.

Of course, no ramen experience would be complete without some gyoza. Slightly crusty on the outside, it was flavorful.

Not sure if we ate this right because we only got the beans on the inside. We were thinking it was a waste to have all that green not go in your body. This was just okay. It was warm and quite “poppy” when you eat it.

Below were my friends’ ramen choices. 😀

As the cold night dwindled on, we were the only ones left in the resto. No matter how light the ramen seemed, it was quite heavy once you get your fill of it. The service was good as they allowed us to stay longer than usual. They did repeatedly played this one song so not sure if that was a tactic. Nonetheless, we had a good ramen experience here. Yeah, Ukkokei Ramen ron is a-okay! 🙂
