Sprout’s Coco Pot

sprout-coco-pot-1I needed a dose of sweetness that day. I know that munching on chocolate would do the trick. But I veered away from my usual fave to try out this: Sprout’s Coco Pot.

Coco Pot (P 74)

It was either this or their Vanilla Panna Cotta. But all those coco ingredients won me over. Plus, this one was cheaper so it made the decision making easier for me.

sprout-coco-pot-3sprout-coco-pot-4Topped with coco bits, this pot was GOOD. Honestly, I had no expectations on this. My previous one was so-so. So by this time, I managed my expectations. And yes, this lil dessert exceeded it. It had the right level of sweetness. I could taste the coco goodness in every bite. I think that the bottom layer consists of honey (just based on the color), and it added that natural sweetness to the pod. The texture was very much flan-like. Very light and gelatin in consistency that glides through one’s mouth. I reveled in every bite of this ensuring that I got every last piece. It was that good. 😀

sprout-coco-potMaybe I was a bit biased on this. I do have a thing for desserts. But I guess, that makes me critical somehow. Critical or not, this was a win for me in terms of flavor and price. And the fact that this is a healthier alternative to all the sweet junk I eat, yeah, this sure is the champion among the contenders. Now I can’t wait to try their other desserts! 😛
