The place was quite small yet it makes for one cozy dining experience. Despite of its small space, they still managed to squeeze a waiting area, and fill its nooks and crannies with books and various pinned up notes. All the wooden furniture makes it feel very homey. It’s perfect as a date place or simply just hanging out with your buddies.
I was intrigued when I saw this on their menu. I wondered if I would really be back for more of that. When it was served, it looked like two scoops of chocolate ice cream was given to me. But when I bit into it, the cream shined through. It wasn’t at all sweet that yes, it’s gonna have you coming back for more. It was creamy yet retained its dense form. Topped with some roasted almond bits, this mousse will surely be on my list when I head back.
Of course I had to pair my dessert with some coffee. Even though I already had two cups that day, I still needed an extra jolt of caffeine to my system. I decided to go for their latte just to be more on the milky side. This was served with a side of brown sugar but my cup didn’t need any. It was good all on its own. The foam was quite rich on this which makes it look lovely in a raw kind of coffee way. This was a good pair to my semi-sweet dessert.
Below are the other dishes (mostly desserts) that my companions had for that day.
Though it was a bit pricey, they do specialize in serving up organic goods. Service was a little slow (or maybe my group was in a hurry that time) but we mostly got desserts so I would assume it should’ve been served faster. Nonetheless, their food shows promise and I would definitely be back to try their vegetarian eats.
