5 Must-have Items on an Airplane Trip

airplane-must-havesAllow me to be a wanderlust for today’s post. I recently visited this very lovely place (more on this soon), and I’m itching to pack my bags again! Oh, and burning some cash too. HA! Traveling could cost one a lot and for some, it’s the plane tickets that rake in the biggest expense. Lucky you if you got it on sale. But if not, well, let’s make the whole ride well worth it shall we? 😉  Below are some of the items that I bring during the trip. May it be a 3-hour flight or an almost 20-hour one, these items sure make me feel comfy throughout the ride. 😀

  1. Neck pillow

I bought it. Haha. But I really needed this one. Yeah, they do give out pillows if the flight is long but I find my neck to be strained once I land.

  2. Eye sleeping mask

Yeah, I know they give this one out too during long flights but what if you really want to nap on a 3-hour flight? This will definitely shut out any light that’s out there for you to get a real good sleep.
  3. Lotion

When you’re at a very high altitude, your skin tends to get dry. Having this will help bring back moisture to your skin. Just make sure that it passes the 100ml or 3.4 ounces mark.
  4. Book

Whenever there’s no other form of entertainment in the plane, it’s best to bring a good book. To be honest, I find it more enjoyable to engross myself in books rather than straining my eyes on the television or waiting for a good song to come along.
  5. Scarf

And I saved the best for last! I have always been bringing a scarf during my trips. I normally use it as a blanket. I just love how it feels on my skin. It’s thin enough that I can carry it around and somehow, thick enough to ward off that cold temperature in the plane.

So there you have it! My 5 must-have items during an airplane trip. Though I sometimes miss a couple of the items listed above (intentionally and unintentionally), I must have at least 3 of those in my bag. It just makes the whole ride more comfortable before you reach your destination. Don’t you think? 😉
