Faces of Batanes

People here are just friendly, helpful and genuine. You could feel it radiate from them while they talk. You could sense their pride whenever you ask them questions about their culture. It may seem like an untouched place with the lack of modern buildings and malls but they’re contented that way. Well, they could use some high-speed internet access and good network signal but above everything else, they are contented.

We met a couple of these kind folks. And I’m feeling the whole black-and-white vibe with the photos below. Some are candid while some aren’t. Here’s to the faces of Batanes! 🙂batanes-faces-8batanes-faces-1batanes-faces-2batanes-faces-3

Our tour guide, who’s in the middle of this photo, was just the best! He was very accommodating even when our tour with him was over.
