Yes, that was some coffee fix at this hardware! I’ve heard so many good reviews about this place that going here was an instant yes for me. After a semi-tiring day at the zoo, this was a good stop for some pre-dinner drinks.
The most photographed section of this café would probably be its sign outside. But once you enter the café, it really veers away from that old-fashioned signage. Design was very modern and open. Its space allowed for some good catch-up sessions with your buddies.
We were supposed to have dinner here but unfortunately, their kitchen was closed already. So yeah, this became a pre-dinner spot instead. There were a couple of pastries and we got their mini croissants. In terms of consistency, it was more filling compared to an ordinary croissant. It was flaky on the outside and slightly sweet. A good pair for our drinks that night.
I was in the mood for some brew that night and this drink fixed me up good. It had fruit elements to it with a semi-mild acidity. I was able to witness how they crafted this with much care and attention to my drink. Nice presentation too on this one. 🙂
Deemed as a brunch spot, I wouldn’t mind dropping by here during the evening. The setting was quite romantic in an introvert way. I could just get lost in a book while sipping on one of their drinks. Either by one’s lonesome self or with a group of friends, this café sure has the tools to fix you up. 😉
