Thank goodness we had a pocket wifi with us. It was one of those searched restaurants on Trip Advisor. And it’s one of the top restos! Such luck on this foodie find. We got there early but minutes later, people started to trickle in. Proof of how good the food is here. There are seats for groups but we opted for the bar one. The bar set-up was nice with the chef at the center. We were able to witness how he cooked each tempura with precision. Just check out the vid below! 🙂
And this set was just very filling! This consisted of three big shrimps, three vegetables, egg and fish. Really, we came here for the shrimp tempura but got more than what we asked for. Every bite was just bliss. Each had a light coating to still accentuate the filling inside. It wasn’t oily at all too. For this big set, you could opt to pair it with rice and miso soup (¥ 1,700), udon (small at ¥ 1,900 and medium at ¥ 2,000) or hot soba (¥ 2,080). You could also have an order of their single tempura. They have a variety of tempura choices and even have karaage on their menu. For sure, you’ll find a good choice here. 🙂
This was a good find indeed. If you’re heading to see Mt. Fuji, better make this as your lunch/dinner spot. Though it may not have a view of that mountain, it’s dishes sure are heavenly filling ones that will make you feel on top.
