What would you regard as something late? Well, there’s that good old “better late than never” saying. But some would argue that being on time is always best. In my case, you could say that time really has messed me up. I could be late or I could be early. It’s really more of the former. And yes, I attribute it to my work. Good thing I have supportive and understanding family and friends who understand my case. And on this day, a late lunch at this restaurant was in order.
The interiors of this place was just charming. It’s like you’re outside but you’re really not. Before coming here, I thought that it had an al fresco setting. With the heat outside, it was a good thing that it wasn’t.
This smoothie was a mix of cranberry juice, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries and maraschino cherries. It was a little sweet and you could taste the cherries on this.
I wasn’t sure how the combination of cranberries, blueberries, strawberries and watermelon would work but it did! I really liked the whole blend of fruits on this smoothie. It wasn’t that sweet with hints of the berries and watermelon. Simply yummy and refreshing! 😛
Of course we had to have this. Despite the egg being a little runny, the hollandaise sauce made up for that. The overall taste was just good. The addition of salad was pretty nice.
I was expecting this to be a little spicy but one can definitely handle this. It was very flavorful which was a good pair to our eggs ben.
Though the morning setting here would have been nice, a late lunch wasn’t bad either. There were few diners then that bonding sessions become more meaningful. This surely is a great spot for weekend breakfast, brunch, lunch or even merienda. 🙂
