Unplanned stop at Sumida Park

If you know me, you know how much I love researching places to go to. For some odd reason, I like making itineraries. I always say that they’re flexible as there’s this tendency to put a lot. And then you never get to go to some. Hehe. But sometimes, there are unplanned stops that you end up discovering something beautiful. πŸ™‚

This was after our trip to Asahi Sky Tower. We were waiting for my godfather (no…not the movie. Haha) to tour us that night. There were few benches where one could relax and enjoy the Sumida River view. As much as that was a good idea, my feet were just itching to walk along this stretch. Behold the gems that I found at this park. πŸ˜‰

In case you’re thirsty, hungry or complete the relaxation deal, there are a couple of cafes along the way.

I know I could’ve walked the whole stretch but I had limited time then. I had to walk back which would take me a couple more minutes. Based on one of the maps, I should see a baseball field. This park is very much alive with cherry blossoms during its season though I must say, it still looks good after that. πŸ˜‰
