After having that full meal from The Halal Guys, I just gotta wash it down with something sweet. What better way to refresh myself with some sweet tea right? 😉
No powdered tea here! They make their iced teas the way it should be: carefully brewed and mixed. It takes some time for it to be prepared but I didn’t mind it. I knew my tea wasn’t going to be processed.
I couldn’t choose from the various tea concoctions they had so I just asked the lady at the counter. She recommended me this: Berry Burst. Served in a paper cup, she told me to handle it with care. I tried taking a photo with my hand and I felt a little splash on my fingers. Yeah, the cup was full up to its brim! That was such a delight for me because I really got my money’s worth in terms of water and ice. It really was red which really is a burst of berry. As for the taste, it was simply refreshing and sweet. I could still taste the tea but I’d probably skip the sweeteners next time. I wanted more of that tea taste. One could have the option to have it hot, with milk or slushed but mine was just with ice. Maybe next time, I’ll be more creative with it. 😛
There aren’t many tea places in the metro such as this. It doesn’t compare to the milk tea places out there. This concentrates more on the brewing process and exploring the tea concoctions. Mostly fruit tea concoctions, they do serve coffee in their roster. So if you’re looking to have a refreshing drink after a full meal here at SM Megamall’s Food Hall, this tea stall will surely have something to offer you. 🙂
