Its interiors had this industrial feel to it. Very high ceiling with a couple of chairs and tables in its space. I was seated near sacks of coffee beans which I wasn’t able to take a photo of. Despite its seemingly sharp edges, I was able to have my alone time here. I had a good book with me then that losing track of time was a big possibility.
The cheese mix on this was cheddar, colby jack and mozzarella with some homemade fig jam. And I must say, that was one good grilled cheese. I liked how the fig jam added that sweetness to balance out the taste of that cheese mix. I just wanted something light that day to pair with my coffee, and this was one good snack.
You know how I always opt for hot coffee? No matter what the weather is, I would still choose hot coffee. Well, 90% of the time. And this cold brew was part of that 10% exception. It was really hot that day that I just wanted to cool myself. I heard that their cold brew here was exceptional that it was a must-try. And yes, please do try this. I liked the acidity on this brew. For me, it had this soothing effect that I could’ve easily downed that drink off.
From Ortigas to Makati, this cafe indeed has found its home to a budding coffee community. Once you step inside, you are transported to a silent hush. Being here just takes all the city and work stress. It’s a world on its own which makes it the perfect hideaway for a few hours or so. Yes, this could very well be a new habit. 😉
