I have always wondered about this taquera place in Makati. I have heard tales of how good the food was both in taste and price. I do find myself craving for some good tacos from time to time. And now I know that I have a go-to spot right in Makati.
The place was a bit small with having that raw feel. Maybe it was the unfinished walls or lighting that gave it that effect. One may seat right at the bar where the taco action is. There are seats too for those in groups. Cozy and casual, it sets up the scene for some good catch-up sessions.
I liked their horchata though my friend, who tasted a real one, didn’t like it as much. The powder mix settled at the bottom which might have been a downer.
And the taco madness ensued! Just check out the filling there! Oozing with so much goodness…I weep. 😀 Their tacos are flavorful. I liked how the taco shell wasn’t thick so that you could taste the filling more.
Their regular serving of this consisted only of the cheese but I wanted to have beef so super it is! One would almost have a hard time finding the nachos here because of the generous additions. But this gets a big check for me too. 🙂
It was a good stop at this taquera. My wonder was solved but replaced with a different kind of wonder. The wonder where you are left entranced by the experience. Yep, I’ll definitely be back here. Perfect for quick snacks or bonding time, Lagrima is the place to be.
