‘Twas a quick stop for my friend and I over at this quaint restaurant. I didn’t know that there were so many good eats at where my fam and I were staying. As much as I would have liked to roam around and try more, time was just too short. Good thing that there was still time to meet this elegant lady.
The goal was to get their Salted Egg Croissant but alas, there were no more. I guess you really have to be early to grab some. Still, other dishes here seem noteworthy. Those rows of macarons were so pretty that I had to grab some. 😛
I couldn’t recall which is which (sorry about that 😦 ) but the other one was a salted caramel while the other had that Earl Grey Tea factor. Not really a fan of that tea but I actually preferred that one. I liked that it wasn’t too sweet with right hints of that tea. The other was good too. They weren’t too sweet to give you a toothache rush.
Served with crème Chantilly on the side, I liked how strong this was. It paired well with my chosen macarons.
Even for a short while, this charming place made me want to stay longer. It’s ambiance was set up for just that. Either for long chats in a big group, one-on-one with a friend or solo dates, one would surely have a good time meeting Antoinette. 😉
