The humbling Ubud Royal Palace

ubud-royal-palace-1When I hear the word palace, I always think of something grand. Gold would always be in the equation. Somehow, being in this palace was different. It didn’t feel grand but more of humbling. Its simple but very detailed interiors exudes that simple majesty.

I guess those are the ones that hold the grandiosity of this place. Definitely good for a quick stop after dropping by the Ubud Market.

  1. I’ve been here too and I totally agree that it is rather humbling than grand. It is always packed with visitors since you can come in for free. They have traditional dance show every night so I guess that’s how they make money because their tickets are higher compared to others.
