And this was one of our expensive stops to date. We intentionally plotted this near the end of our trip. We just had to discover the buzz around this place.
Sorry for the blurry photos but the inclinator going here was going at speed lightning! Kidding 😉 But one does need to take that to get down here. It makes it all the more exclusive and mysterious.
It would have been better to visit this at sunset but travel time got the hold on us. Still, the vast space of this bar was visible. It was a tad hot as there was no ventilation of any sort. I still find the place to be very nice, cool and sleek. I could just imagine the scene here during sunset where one would witness the crashing waves at this bar. But at night, one could still hear those crashing waves.
Served with pesto and spicy tomato sauce, that was one good calamari! It doesn’t leave you with that greasy feel as the pieces were fried well. It went well with the served sauces and our drinks.
The mix of Bailey’s, Kahlua, Creme de Cacao, Frangelico and cream all made for one yummy drink. I hardly felt the alcohol here. It was just a smooth one that we ordered another round of a different booze. 😛
Though expensive, this bar is one to be experienced when you have a little more on the budget in Bali. Service was good, and the dish that we had was okay. The environment was overall relaxing with its chill sounds played by their dj. And yes, you’ll definitely hear the soothing sounds of the crashing waves.
