Last day in Bali? Why not have some of these delectable sweet treats? You could have some for yourself and loved ones back at home. And no, you won’t go mad. Just figuratively with the chocolate choices here 😉
We were supposed to go to their factory and cafe but that was just too far. We wanted to maximize our time on our last day. Luckily, one of their cafes was near our accommodation. This branch was quite spacious. It felt warm with all those orange interiors. I liked how their light fixture had cacao beans on it.
Even though it was hot outside, I just needed to try their hot chocolate. Some force was pulling me to order that. It was served with a chocolate chip cookie which I was eyeing on. It was good that I almost bought a box to take home. Now I’m regretting that I didn’t…oh and the hot chocolate, YUMMY! 😛 I didn’t expect those big marshmallows which didn’t melt through. The drink itself was not that sweet. It had the right amount of froth on top. I felt warm, happy and contented all over. As for my friend’s drink, she liked it too. It all had the right elements to cool one off on a hot day.
Locally sourced and crafted with care, this chocolate sure deserves the spotlight. I liked that they use organic nectar of lontar palm which veers away from the usual addition of sugar. It makes their chocolates have the right amount of natural sweetness. Hey, it may even make non-chocolate folks converts. 😉
