Craving for some Wursty Wursty

And I bet you’ll have some mad craving for the dishes here once you’ve had a taste of it. As its name suggests, they have delicious sausages (wursty is German for sausage) and more! I was psyched to try their dishes that day. Time to turn that craving on full mode then. 😛

Being under a new management certainly spices things up! My family and I personally know the new owners who pride themselves in livening this restaurant up. Offers are still the same but they definitely added that oomph to those already delectable dishes. As for the place, it had this cozy feel to it. They do have a have a 2nd floor and outdoor seating for those late night drinks. With a mix of German Cuisine, Turkish Dishes and some local eats, let’s get on to the food. 😉

Nachos Deluxe (P 350)

So this isn’t German, Turkish or even local but it pairs well with some beer. But mannn…were these nachos GOOD. I couldn’t stop from getting piece after piece. I like the beef mix for it was just flavorful. It was made extra delectable with that egg on top (which was my first time seeing it on a nacho dish). As this is their deluxe serving, it is good for sharing. One could get a junior version of this for PhP 200. I’ll probably have that one all to myself next time. Hihihi 😀

Serving portions of a quarter (priced at P200) or half one (priced at 250) are options for their roast chicken. All servings are served with two sides. Ours had fries and salad. Their fries were crispy while their salad just cleanses your palate. Both were good pairings to the tasty chicken. It was served with some gravy though to be honest, it didn’t need that. The marinade was so good that you could eat it on its own. The chicken was very tender too.

Excalibur (Hanging Kebab)

Its name suits it very well. It does seem mythical when it was presented to us. It’s definitely one of those conversation starters during some late dinner talks. And its taste will definitely get you talking too. The grilled meats (chicken and beef) were really tender and flavorful. It was paired with grilled veggies, yogurt dip and pita bread. I liked having all those components in as they just all worked together. Really yummy 🙂

We were getting full by that time so we just had one stick of this. I guess that wasn’t a good idea as it got me craving for another one. Hehe. The marinade on this was really good. It was rightly sweet which went nicely once dipped in the vinegar.

And this was their grand finale: sausages! Two dips were served with the other’s name escaping my mind. But I preferred that mix over the mustard one for it added this sweetness to the sausage. I still enjoyed having the sausage with some mustard and sauerkraut. As for the sausages, both were prepared well. I preferred the curry wurst. Not sure if my preference for curry kicked in but I just find it more enjoyable than the other one.

Truly, it is 100% delicious at Wursty Wursty. As of writing, I am craving those dishes and looking forward to trying other ones. I can just imagine having their dishes on a late night with some cold ones on hand. Yep, one would definitely have massive craving once they get a bite of this restaurant’s offers. 😉
