Once upon a time, there was a hungry gal who dreamt of eating delicious dishes. These dishes would fill her up until she burps and exclaims “ah…this is the life”. Surrounded with good friends and set in a dreamy atmosphere, she lived happily ever after. The End.
Well, not really. She was indeed very happy but that wasn’t the end. But I guess that’s Another Story. 😉
This place was just whimsical that I had to create a story. Ha! But that story is partly true. The theme of this restaurant was that of a fairy tale really. Every nook and cranny was filled with something either it be a peculiar object or a quote. It was very dreamy that makes it the perfect date place or for some good bonding time with the family.
Two types of bread were served to us which I forgot to take note of. I preferred the round one as I find it to be more tasty than the other. It went well with the served spread.
This was my friend’s dish which I was able to have a bite of. It was just okay though there was something lacking in the hollandaise sauce. Nonetheless, it was still good. The paired fries went well with the dish, and made it a very filling combo.
How beautiful is that dish? I just find it to be lovely in its very simple plating. This was one tasty dish where you could taste the prawns and mushroom just perfectly blending with the wild rice risotto. It could get cloying at the end so its best to have some of their desserts or coffee after.
It is a bit of a drive for non-south folks but an interesting one if they venture here. I must admit that the dishes are pricey but their dishes are quite good. Plus, you get to have that dreamy and fairytale-like ambiance. To be honest, its interiors were the ones that pulled me here. But I was pleasantly surprised that their offers are worth dropping by for.
