Last stop before heading back to my home country! I’ve always enjoyed going to cafes in Singapore. And this trip wouldn’t be complete without having a quick stopover at this cafe.
Their indoor seating was quite small but their al fresco one was just perfect to hang out in after a quick jog. This is one of those good brunch places as it is situated in a residential area. The overall feel was just lax that one would want to spend a few hours here.
I had their Eggs Benedict which I absolutely loved! I liked the taste of their hollandaise sauce as it paired well with the ham. The poached eggs were just perfect. I liked the addition too of a salad there as it balanced everything out.
As much as I came here for their Eggs Benedict, their Iced Hazelnut Latte was the real showstopper. It was so adorable! To be honest, I wouldn’t normally order an iced coffee, let alone a flavored one. But I just had to see this 3D latte art. Surprisingly, this iced coffee was pretty good. Despite the light drizzle that day, I still find that it was the perfect drink to my delicious dish that day.
I wish we could’ve stayed longer here. It’s one of those cafes where I could stay in one corner, and be totally engrossed in a book while enjoying a cup of coffee. But alas, it was time to head back and face reality. If given the chance to go back here again (which is becoming an annual thing…don’t know why…), I’ll definitely try the other dishes here along with a good cuppa. 🙂
