Experience pizza royalty at Parmigiano

Does this Italian Restaurant deserve that crown? Do they live up to that pizza royalness that yes, diners would forget other pizza outlets? Hmm…

Complimentary bread

The interiors were very warm and welcoming yet exuding this grand appeal. With its plush seats and bright lighting, it sets the perfect atmosphere for some good Italian dishes. We were first served with their warm complimentary bread paired with some dips.

Strawberry Iced Tea (P 120)

And that was one refreshing iced tea! The only problem with it was that it’s not mine. Haha. Yup, you read that right. I was supposed to have their Strawberry Lemonade and my dad was supposed to have that. It was only when I finished my drink that I noticed the lemon slice from his drink. Yeah…still, that was one accidental good drink! 😀

Caprese (P 450)

To be honest, I expected a lot from this dish. I tasted a similar dish in the past, and that one blew my mind away. But this one, meh. The taste was very simple especially with that basil leaf. But for the price, one could skip this one.

Spaghetti Al Granchio (P 475)

Frutti Di Mare (P 445)

These were some of the dishes we had which were oddly, both seafood pasta dishes. And yes, both were of the tomato-based kind. Despite looking similar, flavors were still very much distinct. I find the dish above to be a little creamy while their  Spaghetti Al Granchio had that right tangy taste.

Pasta Del Parmigiano (P 470)

And this was my dish for that day: Pasta Del Parmigiano. This had sausage and mushroom in that cream base. The taste was surprisingly light with the mushroom taste somehow highlighted. This was prepared via Parmigiano Wheel which of course, I just had to take a video of. 😉

Gamberi Con Rucola (P 585)

With some buttered shrimp, arugula leaves, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese in that tomato base, the drizzled balsamic reduction made this pizza better. It was made light by the leaves at the same time, retaining that pizza goodness. I liked how the dough had this nice roasty taste that you would get from oven-baked pizzas. To answer the question above, having a bite of this is making me re-think my pizza choices. 😛

This restaurant shines the brightest at night. Their place just looks lovely with the night sky as their background. The dishes are quite expensive but you do pay for quality and great tasting dishes. Perfect for family gatherings, experience some pizza royalty at Parmigiano. 😉
