Experiencing all that Sincerity Cafe & Restaurant

Ever since I heard of how good the chicken was here, I wanted to go right away! But the distance and traffic is one to beat here. And having a food trip will just get me so filled up, I might sleep along the way. On one fateful day, my family and I was able to go here since we had to fix something here. And finally, I was able to try that chicken and more. 🙂

The place was quite crowded when we got there. Good thing they had a 2nd floor as that one had more seats. There were lots of information plastered on its wall. It had a lot of testaments which goes to show how good the dishes are here.

Black Gulaman

Just look at all that ice! They were very generous on that though I wish that the drink wasn’t lost along the way (bec. it kinda did at this drink). The cold drink itself was pretty good.

Spinach with garlic (small at PhP 200)

We just had to have veggies that day! And what better way to have those greens than with Popeye’s fave vegetable: spinach! I liked the simple taste of this which was a good pair to all the dishes we had that day.

Chop Suey (Small at PhP 240)

One could never go wrong with Chop Suey. And at this resto, they did it just right.

Sincerity Fried Rice (Big at PhP 100)

This fried rice was just okay. It wasn’t that outstanding for me because of our other rice dish.

Kiampong Special (Big at PhP 180)

The flavor on this was just spot on! Some may be turned off by its sticky texture but the overall flavor was just good.

Fried Oyster Cake (Small at PhP 200)

I can’t help but compare the flavor of this to the ones I had back in Taiwan. It was just very different. According to my godmother, who we were with at that time, the quality of this one faded a little. It had more of the cornstarch in rather than the filling. It was still good and best with the served sauce but it was really just okay.

Sincerity Fried Chicken (Whole at PhP 320)

And the moment I have been waiting for finally arrived: the chicken! I kinda understand the rave now about this. The fried chicken was rightly seasoned though not as crispy as I expected it to be. There was no served sauce because it didn’t need that. It was good on its own. To be honest, I expected a lot but it was just one good and humble fried chicken.

Ngoyong Kikiam (2 for PhP 110)

This was really good! It had this slight sweet taste which I liked. I had to get more pieces of this as my companions that time liked it as well.

I would definitely say that you would get a lot from your money here. You could choose the size, and even the small servings are good for sharing. In terms of flavor, some were hits and misses. I definitely liked their Kiampong Special Rice and Ngoyong Kikiam. I would definitely go back for those two dishes alone. Service was just okay as most servers were busy assisting other hungry diners. Overall, it was good to have finally visited this sincere restaurant. 😉

  1. You should try the Eight Treasures Machang on your next visit! 😀

  2. They have one of the best fried chickens and oyster cakes I’ve tried so far! They also have a branch in San Juan and in Robinsons Magnolia. 🙂
