So this was the venue where the #LovePasta Event of Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta was held. I’m quite delayed on this because things at work just got so hectic. Lots of preparations going on, and more will come in the coming months. I’m not sure how I would be able to cope up. I just wish I had more of these art sessions. It was relaxing to just paint and focus on your art. While I was here, I really got lost in the moment.
This was the 2nd part of the activity that day. I was pretty excited as I’ve always wanted to try this one. There’s a branch where I live, and I was already plotting the date when I would visit. Lucky me, I got invited to this event where I got to paint for free. I was already eyeing on what painting I would work on but for that event, we had specialized paintings to choose from. The fun part is that it wasn’t the display type of painting but an apron. Yes, we now have specialized aprons. Yeah! There were two options for the paintings, and I opted for the pasta one. The other one was okay and quite difficult to execute. Besides, the one I chose (the photo above) was easier and more pleasing to the eye. We were guided well by the people of Sip and Gogh that I was able to do my art well. I apologize for I wasn’t to take a photo of my work. So yeah, no proof of how “good” it was. Haha. I did get to take it home. But still, I wasn’t able to take a photo of it. #excuses #ImJustReallyLazyToTakeAPhoto 😛
This really was a fun experience for me. Once I got ahold of the brush, I started going to this zone of tranquility. I felt relaxed as I focused on my artwork. It may not look like the one on the canvas but that’s the beauty of art. No artwork is exactly the same as the other. Each one has a different story to tell even though they may look similar. 😉
