My Qantas Airways Experience

And so this begins another travel post for me. I feel that for the past years, I have been going to the same places or mostly stuck in Asia. So I was pretty stoked to plan this one out though I must tell you, it was a challenge. But more on that later. Let me now share to you my Qantas Airways experience. ๐Ÿ™‚

For the whole duration of ourย  stay in Australia, it was Qantas through and through. I got to see the difference between the service of those in the international flights versus the domestic ones. The main difference really is with the food. With their international flights, they serve heavy meals. There are options to have rice or noodles. And there are snacks in between.

Welcome drink Bickford’s signature range since 1874

This was slightly on the sweet side which was a perfect starter for the trip.

Garlic bread

I was pleasantly surprised at the garlic mix inside this. I actually wanted more for it was good.

Chicken Inasal with calamansi soy sauce and Javanese rice

This was pretty okay and tasty. The chicken was a little oily but I’m glad that they paired it with some Javanese rice.

Breakfast: Warmed homestyle muffin with Grinders coffee

There was supposed to be fresh fruit served in between the flight; however, I was asleep the whole time so I never got it. I was just in time for breakfast. Though I’m used to having light breakfast every morning, I didn’t expect my breakfast to be this light. I did like the muffin though for it was served warm.

Yeah…was pretty happy with the garlic bread again. ๐Ÿ˜›
Red curry chicken with jasmine rice and choy sum

This dish was pretty okay too. The curry wasn’t as spicy in order to please everyone’s tongue on the plane.

For our domestic flights, we mostly got toasties. We did get a breakfast meal during one early morning flight. The toasties were good though the other one was toasted so hard, I had a hard time chewing it. As for the breakfast, well, it was healthy. That’s all I can say about it.

Do I even need to give my feedback on this one? ๐Ÿ™‚

All throughout, I felt very healthy with the food served. I noticed that it was placed on priority with the snacks and dishes served. Some did surprise me but in a good way. Or maybe I’m just not used to having such light meals. As for the service, I enjoyed it all the way. All our flights were on time, and we were assisted well by the flight attendants. There was enough leg space and the in-flight entertainment system was top-notch.

Overall, Qantas gets an A for me. If given the chance to fly to awesome Australia, it’s definitely going to be one of my choices. ๐Ÿ˜‰
