And I was epically Epicurious

Have you been epically curious about something? For me, I have always been curious to try out new dishes. There’s just something exciting about trying out something new. About a year ago or so, I passed by this restaurant in Shangri-La Plaza. Little did I know that it was more than just a restaurant. It’s a deli, culinary studio and restaurant all rolled into one! 🙂

Epicurious is a new concept in lifestyle gourmet – a one-stop deli, food emporium, café and culinary studio all rolled into one and its offerings aim to tickle and excite the taste buds of cosmopolitan foodies.  It offers the finest selection of locally and internationally-sourced artisan products ranging from premium tea leaves, specialty coffee, handmade fresh pasta, cheeses, wine selections and charcuterie.

Are you getting curious too? Get your curiosity out of the window as Epicurious just opened their 2nd branch all the way at Eastwood Mall. I was lucky enough to be invited at its launch where a whole lot of festivities happened.

Invited guests got to witness the breaking of the bread and demo classes. On top of that, there was a raffle and games too during the event. It truly was a night of fun but it wouldn’t be complete without trying out some of  Epicurious’s delicious offers.

Epicurious lives up to its motto, ‘Satisfying Foodies’, by redefining the food connoisseur’s shopping and dining experience—with its Shop-Cook-Eat concept, where visitors can have what they bought cooked by the chefs; a Culinary Studio where they can watch their meals being prepared right before their eyes; limited, hard-to-find, mostly artisan products that may either be organic, gluten-free, preservative-free, additive-free, or simply healthy; and, of course, flavors that are distinctively sophisticated, for the most discriminating of palates. A visit to Epicurious is not just another shopping or dining experience, but a total lifestyle experience.

Pasta and sandwiches were served too but the standouts for me was their sausage and cheese offers. I can just imagine myself dropping by this branch, picking out any deli and having it prepared right before my eyes. That’s what makes this special and unique. I could either shop for my goods or eat it right at their place. Another plus is their upcoming Epic Classes where chefs will be conducting special sessions such as Sushi Rolls Class, Pizza Making Class and even a Cocktails Class. Talk about being versatile!

It also takes pride with its wide array of locally-sourced products of top quality, discovered in several regions of the Philippines, as well as internationally-sourced, high-caliber gourmet products.  Taking into great consideration the growing appetite for healthy and holistic food products, Epicurious assures customers that they get their products only from trusted suppliers.

Is this making you all the more curious to visit this store? Either you drop by this branch or their other one over at Shangri-La Plaza. I bet that it’ll satisfy your curiosity and your hunger too. 😉

  1. Haha, that’s the third time the Cravings Group re-branded their restaurant at that space! First, it was Cravings Cafe / The Coffee Beanery, then they replaced it with Rice Lane – and now it’s Epicurious! =))

(That aside, they have a strategic location right beside the comfort room. I pass by the place whenever I have lunch at CoCo Ichibanya!)
