Warm Gold Coast welcome at the JFX

It was a sudden change of weather when we got to Gold Coast. Compared to the other two (Sydney and Melbourne), it was warmer which was a nice welcome for us. An even warmer welcome was dining at JFX where the food was just plain good.

It was a late lunch for us, hence, the slow crowd that time. There were ample seats both in and outdoors. The place was very casual.

BBQ Beef Matsuri Box (A$ 11)

Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl (A$ 8)

Japanese Curry Crumbed Chicken (A$ 8)

For some reason, I really wanted some good curry. So my pick for that day definitely delivered on flavor. I liked how crumbly and tasty the chicken was which was perfect for the curry. And yes, the curry sauce was really good. The other dishes were okay too though the BBQ Beef was just so-so.

We still had our luggages that time. We were assisted well as to where we can place it so as to have a good dining experience. Service was quite fast, and the food was good and reasonably priced. It truly gave us a warm welcome on this coast.
