I never got the full The Nest dining experience before. It was just for an event where I got a glimpse of their dishes and the place. This time around, I got the full dining experience on a cold and chilly December afternoon.
The view was just breathtaking. It’s no wonder that it’s hard to get seats at their outdoor seating. Only downside that afternoon (because it was nearing dinner time) was the cold gust of wind. Good thing I was wearing long sleeves that time. 🙂
These were really fried well, and doesn’t leave you with a greasy feel. It paired well with the served aioli dip.
This was supposed to have some chili on it but we requested it not to have some. It then gave this sweet taste because of the longganisa. It was still a good pasta but better with chili.
This was served with plain rice which is just perfect for the dish. The beef was very tender, and the sauce was spot on.
This dish for me was just perfect. This was my dish for the night, and I had no regrets. All the components of this just worked. The chicken was tender and juicy. It paired well with the flavorful herbed rice pilaf which I couldn’t get enough off. I liked the addition of grilled vegetables because it balanced everything out.
Skipped the whole juice game and went straight for coffee. Well, after all the dishes were finished that is. It was served with a mini oatmeal cookie. It was a good drink to cap the whole evening off.
The price range was a little high but you do pay for some fine dining and above all else, a great view. Imagine dining there at night and watching those fireworks. Romantic right? In my opinion, dining here at night is better and is one those good intimate date destinations in the south. 🙂
