Gettin’ a little Koku

And it’s time to get a little Koku. Kooky? Hehehe

This has been open, I think, for a year now. Even though it’s just a few walks away from my office, I still haven’t tried it. Haha. Good thing the bosses at the office decided to dine here, and yay for libre! Haha. In terms of the interior, it was nice and quite elegant. Their space seems small though but they have this other covered portion. I wasn’t able to ask what that area was all about.

Spicy Tuna Salad (P298)

Oyster Papaya (P268)

Yaki Udon (P238)

There were several dishes that day but the ones above were the only ones I tasted. I was still quite full too so I tried to eat as lightly as possible. Haha. The Spicy Tuna Salad was my choice actually. In terms of being spicy, it only gave a slight heat. When you add the cabbage in, it makes for one yummy and bearable salad. As for their Oyster Papaya, OMG. This has been raved by some of my friends. And yes, I am raving about it too. I’m not fond of eating oyster, especially, the raw type. But this one was nice. It was sweet all thanks to the papaya and sweet sauce. I do recommend to eat it all in one bite. I had a couple of bites too of the Yaki Udon which was very flavorful.

We didn’t get all kooky on this resto but I must say that the dishes were quite nice. I do find it to be pricey as compared to other Japanese restos out there. But the food was quite good. I think it’s a nice addition on this side of this busy city.
