After having passed this taco place everyday going to my office, it was finally time to try this one out.
I recently downloaded Eatigo which was recommended by my friend to me. Luckily, this restaurant was there. When I saw that 50% discount, I immediately booked for 10:30am. Little did I know that the other restaurant, which has the bar, opens at 11am. So it was purely brunch time at their cafe side. In terms of space, it was quite small and not apt for big groups. It was quite bright though as their window there was very open.
When we were told that there’s just one order of this, we just had to try it. Serving size is just good for one. It consisted of that chicken drumstick and a couple of pork bits. I liked how the egg was cooked paired with the garlic rice. As for the viand, it packed a slight heat. The chicken was very tender that you could easily debone it.
And boy did this pack on some heat! I probably wouldn’t recommend this is a breakfast especially when you haven’t eaten anything yet. The heat was tolerable as the meat was indeed very tasty. Good thing it had those other ingredients in such as the egg, cheddar and and garlic rice. But for me, it just bordered on being a little spicy.
Both meals came with brewed coffee which was a nice plus. If you buy it solo, you could get it for PhP 100. It was a decent brewed coffee but next time, I’ll probably try one of their signature coffee. Their Mexicano, which is an Iced Americano with muscavado syrup and squeezed lime wedge, sounds interesting.
I really wanted to try the other half of this but alas, that is for another story to tell. Their cafe was pretty good though I find their choices to be very limited. Since their cold bowls were unavailable that time, you only had to choose between their tortilla breakfast (3 offers only) or all-day Pinoy breakfast (4 offers only). Their selection of coffee was quite good and interesting. I’ll probably be back for those but might skip the breakfast round next time.
