One mustn’t skip Sapporo without visiting this market!
This place is famous for those oh-so-delectable crabs. There were so many types that it overwhelmed me. Aside from those, you could get good vegetables and that famous Yubari Melon. During our stroll here, we got to take a free bite from this seller. And it was sweet! No wonder it was that expensive. In case you’re not willing to shell out that big amount for a whole piece, some stalls sell by the slice at ¥300. Not bad if you just want to taste this native treat here. Since it was nearing lunch hour when we went here, time for some seafood eats. 😛
*BURP* Hihihi 😀
There are lots of restaurants here you could choose from. Most are actually the stall/restaurant type here where you could choose what they can cook for you. Since we were hungry that time, we ordered a lot. Hahaha. To be honest, the crab here slightly underwhelmed. We did choose the most affordable one as the good ones were just expensive. It was still good and had this natural sweetness to it. The shining dish was the Grilled Eel. It was just savory. The other dishes such as the Crab Sushi, Grilled Squid and Kaisen Don were really good too. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. It was simple that one would really enjoy their time here at the market. 🙂
