Friday is just in a few hours. Are you planning to spend some quality time with your loved ones or just a simple get together with your friends? Why not spend it here at The Wine Club? 🙂
I have been planning this wine night with my good friends. It has been years in the making. Hahaha. Blame it on our schedules but it has something to do too with the perfect venue to get wasted in a classy way. We can’t just simply go to a bar, and down ourselves with their select wines. Good thing this invitation to try this resto out came along. It’s the perfect choice to achieve that “goal”. Most of their wines are from California but there are select wines from France and Australia. With over 300 wines, you are assured of great tasting wines as the owner personally tastes it before serving it. Talk about having a personal touch, and good quality control! As a starter, we first got a taste of this sparkling white wine (which I had fun taking photos of).

I liked the slight sweet taste with that kick of alcohol on this drink. Since we were preparing for their dishes that night, I only had a few sips of this but I wish had more. Maybe in the future 🙂 I could purchase one bottle, and wouldn’t worry about the corkage fee. Why? Because they have no corkage on wines purchased and consumed on their resto. Great deal right! Now, let’s get on to more wines and the food. 🙂

The standout dishes for me that night was their Grilled Sausage Platter, Wagyu Salpicao Strips and their Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak (of course! Haha). It just paired well with the wines served that night. I liked how simple the dishes are, and that their flavors were enhanced by the paired wines.
You could say that it’s one of those hidden gems in Makati. As much as I want it to stay hidden (yeah, pretty selfish of me), I want to tell it to the whole world also. It’s one of those places where you could just relax and find comfort in their offers. It’s the perfect spot for those intimate dates or classy gatherings with your friends. The price range is expensive but you do pay for quality wine and food. It can be one of those splurge nights where you can just enjoy the night away.
