1st baking experience with J.Cuppacakes! :D

If you know me, then you’ll know that I don’t bake. I try to cook from time to time, and I think I’m the only one who can eat what I prepare. Haha. But I am trying to cook. I’ve never attempted to bake. I’m always fascinated by those baking shows on Netflix that I never in my wildest dreams imagine myself baking. I love sweets but bake them? Well, it used to be an impossible dream that J.Cuppacakes made come true. 🙂

Festive and cute set-up right? I just loved their dessert bar which features their well-known cupcakes and sweet treats. I love how it’s both creative and yummy too. Aside from being known to make sweet treats, they make savory snacks too. I was able to eat a couple (I had quite a full lunch then), and my fave was their empanada. It was just so darn tasty! J.Cuppacakes have been catering to multiple events, and can customize for whatever celebration you have. Talk about being flexible, and being stress free for your party needs. Now, I know you’re waiting for that baking action. Let’s get right on to it! 😀

Chef Julianne Bernardo, who is the owner and the J behind J.Cuppacakes, personally invited all of us bloggers in that event. Here, she was asking who among us knows how to bake (clearly, I didn’t raise my hand).

Beautiful chaos! ❤
Chef Julianne Bernardo personally attended every table at that event. She had two assistants too but she still went o every table.
Our masterpiece! We got to make Vanilla Cupcakes. Yum!
Final product! Check out our piping skillz!
Proudly decorated the violet one ❤
A little messed up but the vision is there…

For a first time baker, I’d say I wasn’t that bad. Our cupcakes tasted good. And I just love the assistance given to us that day. Aside from having branches in Eastwood and SM Jazz, they’ll be having one soon in Katipunan which will double as their baking studio. They’ll be holding baking classes there which I’m pretty stoked about. If only Katipunan weren’t that far, I’d definitely sign up for a class.

Aside from baking and all those yummy treats that day, we got to take home what we created. I took home 4 cupcakes. But wait, there’s more! We got to take home their signature “Dessert Buffet in a box”. Ugh, such a heavenly sweet delight! My sweet teeth (yes, they suddenly became plural when I saw the box) was dancing with joy. Just check out the whole package below. 😀

That box contains 4 specially crafted cupcakes (aka: my team’s creations that day)

As of writing, I’ve eaten three cupcakes. 😛
Absolutely love their Dark Choco Cookies! ❤

Aside from these sweet goodies, we also got some items from their sponsors that day, namely, All About Baking, Magnolia, Steuarts Tea and Celebrations Party Central. KitchenAid provided our lovely mixers that day, and April Son Photography took lovely photos that day too. It was a tiring day (who knew baking would be that tiring) but a fun one at that. There were prizes too which made the event all the more memorable and exciting.

So if you want that perfect celebration, J.Cuppacakes is the way to go. It makes those special moments sweeter not only with their sweet treats but with their savory dishes too. You can also try out their sweets and more at their branches. Indeed, your afternoons will be one well-spent and memorable here. 🙂
