I’ll be judging this purely on the drink. Because the line was long and the service was…well, let’s just say that an argument ensued between two employees there. 😦
It wasn’t a heated discussion. It was a matter of handing over tasks. I would totally understand that it’s for the sake of proper handover and providing that quality customer experience. But as I told you, the line was long so there were a lot of witnesses to that scene.
Since the place was a bit packed, I wasn’t able to take photos of the place. This branch had ample seating but I wouldn’t say that it’s where one can hang out. The line will turn one off. And most of those seated are waiting for their drinks (even bulk ones from those who have it delivered). So what exactly is the buzz about this drink?
I got their Panda Milk Tea which was a mixture of black and white pearls. And now I get the long line and buzz for this drink. It was good! The real winner here were the pearls. A bounty of pearls upon sip after sip. I could still taste the tea here but it was more creamy and milky for me. But for that price, damn, it was one “sulit” drink. Other milk tea shops would have extra charge for sinkers. But that P100 has sinkers in. My companion that time opted for their Lemon Dunk which only had one size (large) and priced at P100. It was okay. Its taste is something that you would get accustomed to.
It’s probably one of those stressful moments for the employees there. So it’s probably just a one time event (I hope). Still, I am judging purely on my drink which was GOOD. I am more amazed at how affordable it is compared to other milk tea joints. As much as I want to say that the interiors are nice and relaxing, you simply can’t stay. It’s just too crowded what with the long line and all. And mind you, we went here on a weekday. Yup, the buzz is crazy for this tea shop. So if you have a lot of time on your hands and would want one affordable and delicious milk tea (or fruit tea), head on over and fall in love with the CoCo. 🙂
