I’m loving the south more and more! Yes, I am pretty biased here. It’s just that with the expansion wing of Festival Mall, I just know that good restos will pop up everywhere. I mean, they’re opening up CoCo which I always drop by to see if it opened already (yes, call me impatient but those pearls got me!). But for now, let’s head up and see what’s cooking at the Cuesina Garden Bistro.
Its first branch is located in Taguig City. I believe that the interiors are still the same with having that outdoorsy feel. It does feel like a very lax and chill garden with all those colorful lights.
It’s my first time seeing a dynamite with seafood filling in their menu. So I wanted to try this out. The flavor was a bit underwhelming. It didn’t have this heat that usually comes with these poppers. It was more on the sweet side but still somewhat good. Best to dip it with the paired Tomato Garlic Mayo Dip.
This was just okay too. It was a simple lumpia dish that’s best with their special peanut sauce.
Savior dish of the night! I really liked the generous serving of the sauce as I could place it on my warm plate of rice. This dish was heightened by those crunchy bits of Bagnet.
I was getting ready to experience some creamy dish of those assorted fish fillet, shrimp and squid rings. Sadly, this was a little bland.
Overall, our dining experience was underwhelming. Nothing really stood out or wowed me personally. Since this is still new, their dishes’ flavors might still improve. In terms of service, it was really good and fast. Still, there are other restaurants in this area that’s either worth the wait or worth trying.
