The shining milk tea of Dakasi

I remember the time when I used to walk from SM Makati to my office (which is along Ayala Avenue). Point-to-point bus (or P2P for short) was non-existent then. I didn’t mind the long walk. Taking the jeepney in the afternoon was just too hot for me to bear. Plus, I get to exercise. Or eat in between. And one of my usual stops before was this shining milk tea place. πŸ™‚

I was surprised that there were lots of people at this branch. It was an unusual hour. But the place was packed. Back then, I could have a moment or two at this branch. But during my time of visit, it seemed that I couldn’t. Still, it retained its vibrant decor. And seeing that happy star makes me quite joyous.

Taro Milk Tea with Grass Jelly (Large at P145; P25 for the grass jelly sinkers)

The drink above has been one of my go-to milk tea choices here. It was just recommended by my former colleague, and I have been ordering it ever since. It’s just so yummy! I liked how creamy it is with still having that tea taste (and taro too). It paired well with the grass jelly but you could opt for other sinkers for any of their drinks.

I have tried their other milk tea offers many years ago. But since it has been years since I last tried this, I wanted to go for a fave. I think I even tried their hot offers before. Yup, that’s how much of a fan I was before. Milk tea game here in the Philippines is still going strong after all these years. And one franchise that is going strong is this shining milk tea joint. πŸ˜›
