Yes, I am missing Japan. And soon, I’ll be posting my super duper delayed Tokyo posts. To be honest, I don’t know what happened. Got so busy with work, and prioritized other posts that those features got super delayed. But yeah, brace yourself for a whole batch of Tokyo posts! 😀
So glad that they opened their first branch all the way down south! Serving up Hakata Ramen, this hails all the way from Ikkousha where its founder, Kousuke Yoshimura, aims to make all diners happy. To order, one just has to fill out the form above. Time to experience that Hakata Ramen and its offers. 😛
For those craving for rice, they do offer small rice bowls, namely, Cha-shu Don and Karaage Don. The Karaage had a nice flavor to it. The dish was drizzled with some sauce which I wished could’ve been more. As for the gyoza, it was really cute. It was their signature one-bite gyoza; hence, its very small size. It tasted very good too though yeah, the size was really small.
I had a mistake upon ordering this ramen. I requested for its saltiness to be light. Ugghh. Well, it was dinner time then and I didn’t want to feel satiated. Alas, I wasn’t able to properly gauge this ramen in its pure state. It did taste very light. Good thing there were condiments on the side that I was able to somehow adjust the flavor. What astounded me were the cha-shu slices. It was so thin! Not sure if my photos above is doing it justice. Though it does have a little fat, I didn’t mind it for it added flavor to the ramen.
I just love how you can customize your ramen here. And comparing to other ramen joints, it’s more on the affordable side. Their cheapest ramen is at P290 (Shio Ramen). So, you do have choices in customizing it or having it as is. They have a variety of ramen pairings too. Since this is just around my area, I’ll surely be back to experience more of that Hakata Ramen.
