Quick coffee break at Cafe Maxims

In case you’re tired from gambling or just want to take a breather at this mall, this cafe is just around the corner. 😉

We didn’t gamble that night just to be clear. Haha. I personally wanted to take a breather because we ate at the restaurant in the casino area. Being that the area is a smoking one, I wanted some fresh air somehow. This cafe was nicely located outside one of the casino entrances. There’s no clear division with walls and everything. Kudos for some comfy seats though.

Banana Loaf (P360)

Some of our original orders were already out of stock. So we chose this instead which is one of their bestsellers. It is sold by the loaf. Not a slice. But a whole loaf; hence, its price tag. The server sliced it up real well, and packed the other half. It was a good and decent banana loaf. It has that good banana flavor in though I prefer the somewhat moist type of banana loaf. It was a bit dry for me. I wish it was toasted or warmed a bit.

Cappuccino (P190)

Classic Hot Chocolate (P175)

I skipped coffee for that day. I am actually trying to lessen my coffee intake now. Yes, 2019 goals! Haha. I chose their Classic Hot Chocolate which was pretty good. It wasn’t that sweet. It paired nicely with the served Chocolate Chip Cookie. Come to think of it, we could’ve skipped the loaf if we knew our drinks came with those cookies.

This was a nice ending to a somewhat long day. Even if their space is open, you could still relax with your coffee. There are other coffee places in the area. But if you feel like indulging, this can be your option. They offer more than just coffee and pastries so you could have a meal here too. Just have your wallet ready as their offers gear on the expensive side.
