Never expected to have ramen here. I mean, you would expect and should be gorging in American food. But being that the world is getting smaller in terms of international dining, there are multiple places where you could experience authentic international dishes. And one good example is this ramen place that’s simply being lined up for.
We were a group of 6 then. It was the perfect after-yoga meal. Haha. Yeah, I got to do some yoga during my visit. Since our group was a bit big, we had to wait. When I got to see their indoor seating, it was really small. I couldn’t take a good photo of the whole place. It stays true to that very packed seating style in Japan where no space is wasted.
This is their famous offer which had a tonkotsu base. I must say that the serving was huge. I could’ve shared it with someone if I knew how big it was. The broth was rich though a bit watery, and the noodles were cooked nicely. It had the right consistency for it was neither soft nor too hard. The pork slice was just right though it had a lot of fat. But hey, it adds all the more to that ramen flavor.
So I wasn’t able to finish my whole bowl. I just finished all the contents but there was some soup left. It was a very satisfying and hearty meal to end that day. After us, there were still people coming in. That goes to show how good the ramen is here. They have other offers too aside from their ramen such as rice bowls and even a Salmon Carpaccio. Oh, the service pretty good too. So if ever you’re in LA and craving for some ramen, this is one good place to go to. 🙂
