Much like my ramen experience, I never expected to have milk tea here. First, it was expensive compared to the ones in Manila. I mean, some are expensive already here. But the ingredients would have to do with the cost of the milk tea or boba tea as they would like to call it here. One of my friends that day said that the taste of the milk tea is different here. Time to judge how different is the taste.
Not sure why the milk tea making was covered up. But you really wouldn’t be able to see how they make it. Maybe it’s top secret or something. Anyhoo, I was still surprised at how popular boba tea is until this day. It’s still cheaper than your cafe drink.
To be honest, I couldn’t remember what I ordered. Hahaha. I have such poor memory. Plus, I forgot to write it down. I do remember though how flavorful my drink was. It was creamy and the pearls were nicely cooked. A factor could be the ice that they place. It wasn’t many so you could really taste the nice blend of milk and tea.
It was still worth it to have some boba time here. I was intrigued at how milk tea tasted over here. With lots of options (as it is still quite popular here), one would surely get a good dose should they crave for that milk & tea combination.
