How does a restaurant prove their claim of serving healthy dishes? It’s not enough to just serve salads all the way. Yes, that’s healthy but the additions to the salad can be unhealthy. So how does Panini Kabob Grill prove it, and even have the guts to place “Healthier Mediterranean Food” on their logo?
Their philosophy in serving only the best drives them to deliver just the best. I love how they displayed their vendors to show their commitment and transparency to their diners. No wonder lots of diners were here during lunch when we dined. They have multiple seats with the outdoor one just simply charming.
Since we were a big group that time, we had their Family Kabob Combo. You have the option of having two skewers ($19.99) or four skewers ($39.99). It comes with Basmati Rice, Brown Rice or Bulgur Pilaf with salad. We actually had two types of rice, namely, Basmati Rice and Bulgur Pilaf. When it was served to us, I was shocked at its size. We even had some to go! We were a group of 5 then, but still, the serving was huge. Let’s rate the salad first. It tasted very fresh, and was a good breather to our lovely plate. As for the kabob, it was really good. The chicken was grilled well. The juiciness of the chicken was retained. It didn’t need any sauce as it’s good on its own. I did prefer it with the Bulgur Pilaf as it was quite flavorful.
I was really full and happy that day. It was good to know too that we dined healthy. Of course, portion size should be controlled. I can’t help but indulge a little. I mean, with great tasting food, wouldn’t you? 🙂
